Terms of Use
Last updated October 10, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Quintari LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"), which operates Soul Anchor: the app for iPhone and the website at soulanchor.app. By creating an account or using Soul Anchor you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Soul Anchor.
What Soul Anchor is
Soul Anchor is a private place to explore faiths, beliefs, sacred texts and philosophies at your own pace. It is for information, education and personal reflection. It doesn't promote any religion, rank traditions, or tell you what to believe, and choosing sources is a reading preference, not a statement of who you are.
Not professional advice or counseling
Soul Anchor is not medical, mental-health, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and it is not pastoral care or counseling from clergy or a faith leader. Using it doesn't create a professional or counseling relationship with us or anyone else. Don't rely on it in place of a qualified professional, and talk to one about decisions that matter for your health, safety or circumstances.
Soul Anchor is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or in danger, call your local emergency number. In the United States you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). More resources are on our crisis support page.
Sacred and primary-source texts
Passages from sacred and classical texts are quoted word for word from the published editions stored in Soul Anchor, and each is shown with its source, edition and translator. Soul Anchor's own writing is labelled as such and kept separate from these texts; it is never presented as scripture, as a tradition's teaching, or as doctrine. A translation is one rendering of its original, and each tradition has its own interpretations.
The editions Soul Anchor uses:
- The Bible: World English Bible (public domain).
- The Tanakh: The Holy Scriptures, Jewish Publication Society, 1917 (public domain).
- The Qur'an: Arabic text from the Tanzil Project (Tanzil Quran Text, Uthmani, version 1.1, © Tanzil Project, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license, tanzil.net), with Marmaduke Pickthall's English translation of the meaning, The Meaning of the Glorious Koran, 1930 (public domain). The Arabic is not altered.
- The Dhammapada: translated by F. Max Müller (public domain).
- The Bhagavad Gita: The Song Celestial, translated by Sir Edwin Arnold (public domain).
- The Tao Te Ching and the Analects: translated by James Legge (Standard Ebooks edition, CC0 public domain dedication).
- The Enchiridion of Epictetus: translated by George Long (Standard Ebooks edition, CC0 public domain dedication).
AI-written content
Personalized guidance (the perspective, prayer where offered, reflection and next step) is written by an AI model from our provider, Anthropic, after you agree to it. It can be incomplete, inaccurate or not right for you, and it is Soul Anchor's reflection, not the teaching of any tradition. Use your own judgment, and don't treat it as a statement of fact or as professional advice. The quoted passages themselves are not written by the AI.

- You must be at least 13 years old to use Soul Anchor. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you.

- You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@quintari.io if you think someone else is using it.
- Accounts are personal: don't share or transfer yours.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- use Soul Anchor to break the law or to harm, harass or threaten anyone;
- try to get around the daily guidance limit, security, or access controls, or access other people's data;
- disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it;

- present Soul Anchor's AI-written content as scripture, as a tradition's teaching, or as professional advice.
What you write
You own what you write in Soul Anchor, such as guidance requests and reflections. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Soul Anchor to you, including sending guidance requests to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't publish it or show it to other users. You can delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.
Our content and intellectual property
Soul Anchor, its design, software, name and logo, and the text we write (other than the public-domain and openly licensed source texts above) belong to Quintari LLC or its licensors. You may use Soul Anchor for your own personal, non-commercial use. The source texts remain under their own public-domain status or licenses.
Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using Soul Anchor and delete your account at any time in Account › Privacy & data. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if needed to protect others or the service, or if we stop offering Soul Anchor. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first.
Disclaimers
Soul Anchor is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that Soul Anchor will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Quintari LLC and its members, employees and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Soul Anchor. Our total liability for any claim relating to Soul Anchor is limited to the amount you paid us to use Soul Anchor in the 12 months before the claim (Soul Anchor is currently free). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
App Store
If you downloaded Soul Anchor from Apple's App Store, these terms are between you and Quintari LLC, not Apple, and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple has no obligation to provide support for Soul Anchor, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, take reasonable steps to let you know. If you keep using Soul Anchor after changes take effect, you accept them.
